Estefania Laterza, representative of CAF (Development Bank of Latin America) in Brazil, highlights the support of the development bank in the T20 Brasil process and its contribution to changing the reality of society and the planet.
Additionally, she emphasizes the role of development banks in discussions about the well-being of civil society, supporting think tanks in the development of public policies. For Estefania, T20 Brasil is an opportunity to bring the voice of Latin American society into the spotlight of globally relevant agendas within the context of Brasil's presidency of the G20.
On July 2nd and 3rd, the G20 Community and members of Think20 Brasil met in Rio de Janeiro for the “T20 Brasil Midterm Conference”. The Conference, held at the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), had as its main objective the debate and dissemination of information on the recommendations contained in the Communiqué, a synthesis of discussions by more than 120 national and international think-tank institutions from 33 countries.
