The Founding Director of Data Privacy Brasil, Professor at the Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM) and Lead Co-Chair of Task Force 05 (TF05), Bruno Bioni, highlights the importance of participating in the T20 Brasil Task Force. He emphasizes the relevance of diversity among members, which resulted in the reception of around 175 policy abstracts, of which 73 policy briefs were approved after a rigorous filtering process. The work culminated in a set of five recommendations, seeking to develop concepts that promote common data governance, aimed especially at reducing inequalities and building a more sustainable and fair planet.
On July 2nd and 3rd, the G20 Community and members of Think20 Brasil met in Rio de Janeiro for the “T20 Brasil Midterm Conference”. The Conference, held at the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), had as its main objective the debate and dissemination of information on the recommendations contained in the Communiqué, a synthesis of discussions by more than 120 national and international think-tank institutions from 33 countries.
